Stayed in the tree house room which was absolutely lovely. The shower, jacuzzi tub, heated floor, were absolutely magnificent. The river and view of the bridge was beautiful. Bed was super comfy. The only reason this gets 4 stars is because they had an infestation of Asian lady beetles. I noticed it when I was in the tub as one was floating around with me. I didn’t really think much of it as I scooped it out. Later in the night, as I was about to sleep, I looked up at the ceiling and noticed at least 10 walking and flying around. I got up and turned on the light to see one in the bed and some on the lamps next to the bed. There are areas in the ceiling where they are coming in from. In the morning, they were in the shower. These are not lady bugs and they do bite. If you squish them, they will leave a yellow stain. The infestation needs to be controlled as soon as possible. Other than that, the room itself was super comfy. I have no complaints about anything else.

I planned a surprise trip here for my fiance's 30th birthday and from start to finish the experience was wonderful. Everyone here was so sweet and accommodating. The afternoon tea and treats were a delight and the butler's pantry was a nice little surprise. The river suite which we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous. Between the fireplace, the jacuzzi, and the view of the river, it couldn't have been more relaxing. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious as well. We are so excited to plan another getaway here!

My partner and I stayed here this past October to celebrate her birthday. Long story short, she broke her spine falling down the steep, narrow, double-carpeted stairs that needed to be taken to go from our room on the second floor to the ground floor, where the entrance was. Our stay was very expensive as is, and the recovery from the spine injury has not been cheap, either. Not only has management refused to refund our stay, but they passed us along to an incompetent insurance agent who took four months to tell us that they will only cover out-of-pocket medical expenses. If you stay at all, stay on the ground floor.

Great place for a relaxing getaway. The Treehouse room is wonderful; huge bed, whirlpool tub, rain shower, and fantastic views. We stayed in December, when it was a bit cold for outdoors but the view of the riverfront was fantastic. I would imagine even better than in the summer when the trees could block some of the view. The staff were all friendly and wonderful, and the breakfasts were delicious! Would definitely recommend this B & B.
